RANT

I’m considering doing a video rant.

 

I first imagined a more rational approach, but so few people listen to logic and facts these days.  They do respond to emotion, though, so I’m developing a solid script that should do the job if I can deliver it as well as it appears to sound in my mind.

 

The trouble is, I get stage fright as soon as the web cam turns on. To compensate, I may have to keep recording it until the rant appears unscripted. Because no one wants to sit through a crappy rant or one that gets read from a teleprompter.

 

I will need bullet points to keep me on track, and a timer to keep it under two minutes. One minute would be even better.

 

It will be a rant on “Fox Noise” and other biased media outlets that seek to divide us instead of uniting us against common threats to our existence and wellbeing.

 

I will address white supremacy and male supremacy and their debilitating effects on marginalized groups (and on male white supremacists, too).

 

I don’t know how long it will take me to get the script right or to record it well enough so it’ll fly, but when I get it done I’ll post it to my Facebook page and here on my blog site. My hope is that it’ll be so compelling that it will go viral and make the rounds so Fox watchers and white male supremacists can see that their tactics will eventually destroy them.

 

The upcoming election is a referendum on the gullibility of the voting public. My guess it that most of us are going to deliver a resounding defeat to the paranoid white/male supremacists in our midst. That’s my most fervent hope, anyway!

 

When it comes to rants, all sides can play the game but only the side that rants on behalf of all U.S. citizens is bound to come out unscathed.

 

Dividing us up is a loser’s tactic. A house divided against itself cannot stand.

 

We are not enemies. We are relatives, loved ones and neighbors. It’s time to remember that and stop being crappy to each other.
