Lakewood Playhouse Christmas Offerings

spotlight-802633_640

The Lakewood Playhouse is open for joy and merriment tonight and several more nights between now and Christmas.

I’ll be there tonight at 5:30 to get a seat to their First Annual “Welcome Home for the Holidays” musicale, which gets underway at 6. You  can get in for five dollars or more.

Tonight the Playhouse is also collecting donations of toiletries and gift cards for Living Access Support Alliance (LASA). The additional money they get tonight will help support scholarships for students participating in classes and camps offered by the Lakewood Institute of Theatre.

So, not only do we get an evening of live entertainment; we get to support a local charity and the students who want to attend the classes and camps that the theater offers. I’d call that a win-win-win for everybody!!!

I’m very much looking forward to making merry tonight from 6 PM to 9 or 9:30, depending on when they kick us out!!! I know the time will go by at warp speed. The Lakewood Playhouse always offers the best in live entertainment. I have never been disappointed by any play or other event I have ever attended there.

UPDATE: The event was wonderful. I plan to make an annual pilgrimage to it from now on. Words can’t describe how wonderful it was…

In Other News:

I didn’t sell any books at the bazaar yesterday but I bought a few things.

Here’s one of them. Couldn’t pass it up. It’s handmade and was just $25.00
