Boob-Less Jogging
I just tried jogging for the first time since my chest was masculinized.
OMG! What a difference it makes.
It’s a lot less hard and I was able to sustain my first workout jog for ten minutes.
I started with five minutes on the timer but felt so good when the buzzer went off that I went for another five immediately.
Loving it!
I’m jogging and dancing in place in my den to jogging music on Amazon Prime, on a cushy rug, not on a hard-surface road, which aren’t good for knees…
WOO HOO!
I will do this every two hours all day long from now on. That should kick me into better shape very fast.
I’d like to lose ten pounds before my tummy surgery in a month or so…
I had large, pendulous boobs before my chest masculinization surgery, so running and jogging was always problematic. I used to joke that if I jogged, I’d give myself a black eye from my flopping appendages.
But jogging was no joke. The boobs kept me off-balance and the tugging wasn’t comfortable.
Today when I jogged I felt nothing but an increased pulse rate and unmitigated exhilaration. I will actually ENJOY exercising now, and not just when I’m riding bikes or (eventually) playing pickle ball again. (I won’t play pickle ball again until there’s a well-researched and scientifically approved vaccine against COVID-19 that I can take. I miss the hell out of playing but not enough to risk my life under the present circumstances. I want to get healthy, not compromised or dead!)
Boob-less jogging is really a blast since I jog to Amazon Prime’s free “jogging music” like its “Walking on Sunshine” mix. They are all fun, spirit-lifting tunes, and it takes just three or three and a half songs to deliver ten minutes of robust exercise.
Instead of dreading exercise, I will look forward to it every two hours for ten minutes during the hours I’m awake.
Yeah, baby!
