My Christmas Blessings

My friends and family know me well. Every single gift I received this Christmas was perfect…for me. They took their time, paid attention all year, and goodness gracious sake alive, I was tickled pink by every single thing I found wrapped up or in a Christmas stocking.
I know I’m going to forget something, so I hesitate to even start listing them, but here goes anyway!
From my best client ever (who probably wishes to remain anonymous), I got Christmas bonuses both from her personally and from her company that were so substantial, they paid for half of the recent repairs on my vehicle, which was HUGE this time of year. As a result, I was able to buy gifts for my closest friends and family without going into hock up to my ears!
From Jackie (my sister) I got new flannel sheets and a feather-soft blanket. (While she was away in Arizona for four or five weeks this October-November, I was dog-sitting one of her friend’s dogs on her side of the house and I often slept in her bed with the dog in her doggy bed at my feet because she’s used to sleeping with her people. I was so impressed by Jackie’s bedding I inquired, “Where did you get those amazing sheets and blankets? I never wanted to get out of bed in the morning!” That was her cue. She got bedding like it for my Christmas gift, plus an Amazon gift card.)

Goat slippers CU and new bedding
From the McNivens (Phil, Wendy, Casey and Jamie) I got furry pajama bottoms (for guys!), homemade cookies, a HUG LIFE (as opposed to THUG LIFE) t-shirt with an adorable kitten wearing a thug-like scarf.
(I got the same t-shirt for my dear friend Edward Smith this year, and almost got one for myself at the same time, but then I thought, “No! You’re buying for other people this month, not yourself! Maybe later!”)

From Lisa I got some hysterical goat yoga figurines, goat slippers, a goat calendar, insulated grocery bags (she noticed that mine had seen far better days/years), a stuffed pig for my stuffed animals collection, a camera case, and some other goodies (for vehicle safety, etc.)
I took pictures of the most whimsical/fun things I got this year…
From Ben Taylor I got a wonderful arctic fleece jacket that I’m practically living in right now, and some yummy treats.

Jacket Ben got me
And this morning, on the day after Christmas, Heritage Bank on Canyon called my sis to let her know the Christmas tree was ready to be picked up to feed to my goats, so they’re outside on their trampoline right now enjoying their after-Christmas holiday snacks…
I’m uploading the video of the goats from my smartphone, which is taking an eternity, so I’ll attach it when it finally gets where it needs to be so I can post it here…
Yesterday was truly one of my best Christmases ever. I was in good company, we all had a ball, and there was much love and laughter every minute of the day. Truly a memorable day. A big thank you to Ben for buying the scrumptious ham and to Lisa for cooking a marvelous meal and hosting the four of us at her place…
